About
Robotube Games is an independent game developer, and was founded by Jason Cirillo in Yokohama, Japan in 2001, but technically, Robotube has really existed since 1999.
We’re now a subsidiary company of Gaijin Games.
We’ve created award-winning games for all kinds of platforms, including the award-winning Zyrx, the critically-acclaimed Bloktonik, and the absolutely terrible “Kamala’s Blackjack” which still exists somewhere on the innernutz.
We’re working on iPhone and iPad games, and have some secret plans to do console games soon, which are not so secret anymore now that you’ve just read this.

FAQ
1) Are you hiring?
A- No, we’re not hiring at the moment. I get asked this probably every day, and I appreciate all the interest! But, if you’re job hunting, I know your time is precious and you’ve got a lot to do, that’s why I’d feel bad if you spent an hour writing a cover letter and resume to send to RTG.
2) When is your game coming out?
A- If we have a release date for any particular game, we will post it immediately to this site under the proper platform. If we don’t know the release date, then your guess is as good as ours!
3) What happened to your WiiWare games?
A- We get asked this one a lot! Here’s a brief history: We love Nintendo, but we were never able to secure a dev kit from them for a couple of reasons. So, we rely on partners to help us develop our Wii titles. Those are often tricky deals to secure, and there’s a lot that needs to be done, both in terms of labor and finances. Sometimes it doesn’t always work out as we plan, but we do still forge ahead. Making a game for Wii/PS3/XBLA is a lot different than making games for iPhones and iPads. ie: it’s a lot harder.
4) This game has a bug! I’m mad and confused and I feel violated!
A- Ah crap, sorry about that. Video Games are made by humans, and humans are lame. Send us an email and let us know and we’ll do our best to remedy it for you.
5) Where are you located?
A- The current location of Robotube Games is a very well-kept secret.
6) What is Bit Museum? Sometimes I hear about Bit Museum and Robotube Games.
A- Bit Museum is both the name of a web series sponsored by Robotube Games, and the name of a physical collection of actual video game history owned by Jason Cirillo of Robotube Games. Learn more at bitmuseumshow.com.
