About Us
Robotube Games holds the distinction of being the oldest video game company in the world.
We were founded in 1765 by Artimus J. Schnievel, after defecting to the United States to escape the forthcoming attack by the Japanese Imperial Army. He narrowly escaped capture just before setting off in a small submarine he procured by a Dutch engineer.
Upon his arrival in the United States (then called Westonia), he built a small toy company then called "RockTubes" and made a name for himself with the invention of "Hit a Rock with a Cardboard Tube", which found moderate success, selling 24,784 copies.
300 years later, Schnievel invented the home computer which, as we all know today, was a significant invention, having spawned such industries as video games, tennis, and plumbing. Having found wild success with this new invention, Schnievel changed the name of his company to "Robotube", having been inspired by the Herbie Hancock music video, "Rockit".
Fast forward to 2005 when Bloktonik, the first video game ever, was introduced to the world. The rest, as they say, is history.
Robotube Games, our current manifestation of Schnievel's work, lives on to this day, with net income of nearly 780 Billion US Dollars.
